Convocation ceremony of 14th batch of PGDM,2008-2010 was held on 1 Oct.’2010 as per the vedic rituals prevalent at the historic Nalanda University. Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Santonu Choudhury, CEO-Kurlon Mattress, and Guest of Honor was Mr. Pravin Rajpal, Advisor, FICCI. Medalist were: Jagrati Singh(Gold),Gaurav Shukla (Silver), Nupur Soni (Bronze). Special Awards: Chairman Gold Medal for Marketing-Jagrati Singh, Gold Medal For highest marks in Finance-Gaurav Shukla, President Gold Medal for highest marks in HR-Saif Ali.

10 team of two students each represented for the national level paper presentation held by AIMA on 2nd and 3rd Sept.,2010 at New Delhi.

IISE rocks with 100% PGDM Placement for the Batch 2009-2011, two months before completing the course IISE organised an Inter-College seminar on Information Technology on 9th April 2011, in which students from different colleges participated and improved their knowledge base. The winners were awarded cash prizes and certificates of excellence. The seminar was highly informative and was fully managed by our MCA students. Our MCA-2nd year student Mr Ventakesh Narain Singh participated in C++/JAVA Quiz and Technical Quiz, organised by SRMCEM, Lucknow and won the FIRST & THIRD prize in the above events respectively. IISE students have swept the awards at Guar Hari Singhania College of Management, Kanpur in their annual event on 5th & 6th Feb, 2011. PGDM students stood 1st & 2nd prize in "Logo Login", 2nd in "Tug-o-War", 2nd in "Survivor", 2nd in "Arm Wrestling", 2nd in "HR Funda", 2nd in "Group Dance", and Mr Divya Darshan won the 1st in "Solo Dance" category. IISE team emerged the 2nd winner team in the entire event. IISE congrats Mr Vishal Dixit and Mr Kunal Majumdar for securing third position in the Paper Fest organised by Symbiosis Institute of Operations Management, Nasik. IISE congrats Mr Aviran Nandy, Mr Siddharath Pahari and Mr Vijendra Kumar for securing second position in the event B-Sense organised by NILM-CMS. Student team of 4 have qualified for the final round of "Business Plan" competition by AIMA, the preliminary round for which was held on Pan India basis. IISE has been placed in Silver A+++ Category by Just Careers Magazine for the BEST B-SCHOOL SURVEY 2011 IT BRAIN SHAPERS conducted the quiz competition – “Brain Quizzence” for the students of MCA. The winners from respective years were: Vivek Bhattacharya (MCA 1st year), Akrama (MCA 2nd year) and Dhananjay Kumar (MCA 3rd year) Sem) Mr. Rahul Pandey (DEE Coup Web Services), Mr. Arkroop (Synapse Communications) and Mr. Sharad (TCS), our MCA Alumini visited the campus to address MCA students Aspiring Minds conducted AMCAT examination for MCA students. Dr. Y.P. Singh, Professor of Finance has been designated prestigious Certified Financial Planner ^CM (CFP ^CM) by Financial Planning Standards Board India (FPSBIndia) and became first wheel-chair person of India to be CFP certified. Ms Shweta Srivastava (Asst. Professor) and Ms. Priyanka Kalra (Lecturer) got Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) certification from All India Management Association (AIMA) MCA Students bagged 5 out of 6 top positions in "Mind Hunt and Screw Search" competitions held at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow.
