Is teaching at IISE the best?

Consider some facts. . . . . . . . . .

Every lecture at IISE is not only heard but also seen in full on the video screen on which the lecture contents are shown by power point and illustrations are shown by video films. Since all this material is stored on hard disc, students can always replay it on computer and make notes in spare time and concentrate on understanding in the Class Room. Thus, neither the students nor the Lecturer has to spend time and divert attention for writing work. Lecturer spends whole time in clarifying concepts and students in absorbing it. Faculty-student interaction time multiplies several times within the same one period. ASK MANAGER INFORMATION TO SHOW YOU VIDEO OF THIS ACTIVITY. Such teaching as this is done nowhere in India and Director IISE saw it nowhere in UK also. IISE teaching is, thus, a world class innovation.

Video-conferencing facility owned by IISE can have a live, interactive lecture delivered from anywhere in the world into the IISE class room.

On-line teaching is boasted of by many but connecting all students and faculty on line on one computer for each students maybe, if at all, being done at not more than 5 or 6 places in India. IISE has an on line class room (OCR) where theory + practical is done together, along with the Lecturer guiding students do practical as he teaches the theory of practical on Class Room LCD Screen.

IISE treats computer as a fountain pen. So, all Courses first start with developing student's computer capability up to MS Office, internet, accounting through software Tally, mathematics/statistics through SPSS and making power point presentations.

The result of this pedagogy is that Mr. John Vaughan, Director Liverpool J M University UK. stated during his visit to IISE that an average IISE student is “technologically more advanced” than a UK resident student of his University.

Mr. Roy Eberts of Purdue University USA had been invited by IISE for collaboration in Biotechnology Courses. He, instead, offered it in Computer Engineering because, as he said, IISE's computer capabilities were far stronger and matched with USA's Purdue University.
